Ok, let's start this beautiful day (I just woke up) with THE big news. It all holds in one word: Organics.
You've read correctly, your favorite brand is moving forward to selling eco-friendlier products. It's not like we were totally unconcerned by the environment anyway, but we just went another step ahead on the biological road to a better planet. Organics is therefore a new collection, just as nice as before, but involving a completely chemical-free production. To achieve this new challenge, we sought help from the Fondation Nicolas Hulot for Nature and Mankind – the only state-approved foundation to act in the field of education about the environment. With such a big partner, there's only one thing we miss now: gorgeous new designs. And that's exactly where you can get involved, by participating to a new contest with the following inspiring thematic: sports and environment.
- What is it about? Two submissions will be rewarded: one about sport & environment in general AND one about one outdoor sport (cycling, surfing, snowboarding, skiing, hiking, diving, climbing, yachting, kayaking).
- Until when? April, 5th.
- What is to be won? 1500 Euro.
Wanna join? We're waiting for you!
Easter is celebrated quite differently depending on the culture but I still thought Easter eggs are a fairly safe subject. Today's Friday game is a virtual version of something most of us have probably done while we were kids; painting eggs. Download an egg-template from here, paint it with your favourite piece of software and send it to me.

The Easter vacation is 4 days long which means I'm going to be available again on tuesday. That's when I'm going to publish a gallery of the eggs you've sent me and announce the winner. So, you've got loads of time to complete this task. The winner gets enough brouzoufs for a free t-shirt from our selection (shipping included).Have fun and take it easy!
Whoa. Three new shirts to write about. Better get to it, I suppose!
Let’s start with the freshest one of them: I dunno what the cat in the design is smoking but it sure as heck seems like he’s travelling without moving. Or then again, maybe he just has awesome skills in shaping the smoke the way he wants. With those skills he could beat Gandalf, I’m sure. ”Traveller’s Club” is available as regular t-shirts and longsleeves and I suppose the longsleeves are so damn cheap (you can get them for 13€, woohoo!) because the winter is almost over in Central Europe. If there’s another reason I didn’t get the memo on that but will most def tell you about as soon as possible. The design is by Nancy, as you might recognize from the style. Big up!

The second one of the new shirts to blog about is my favourite of this bunch even if selecting favourites between laFraise shirts is like choosing between beer, red wine and vodka. I’d have them all if it was up to me but the doc says I shouldn’t. Same with the T’s – I’m already overdosing on those but ”Team Royale” is something I need to complete by selection of dope shirts. The design is by RecycledWax and that dude is really on fire at the moment. Expect another sweet design by him to be printed pretty soon. Oh yeah and the longsleeves are going for 13€ again. Any cheaper would be blasphemy.

The last of the new shirts is something we’ve never done before and it’s especially for the ladies; a zipper hoodie with a print on the backside. The design is ”Sorciére” by Lulu and I guess the name translates to ”The Sorcerer.” Beat me with a magic wand and say ”abracadabra” if I’m wrong. Since it’s a hoodie and that counts as a longsleeve too it’s going for a discount price. 24€ certainly ain’t bad deal, huh?

That’s all for now folks. :)
Available as regular t-shirts and longsleeves ”Stan's view” is our newest treat. When you want the ultimate contrast you obviously want white on black and that's exatcly what you're getting here. This is the first winning design from Bibap – thanks!

Hallo, Salut, Hi,
How would you feel about it, if you could receive your laFraise T-shirts not exclusively via parcel post, but could buy them in a shop? And how would you feel about it, if this shop was not developed just somewhere or somehow, but developed through your creative input?
We, two Interior Design students from Wiesbaden, Germany, plan and carry out the development of such a shop for LaFraise in context with ourDiploma work.
Well actually… YOU create the shop! The uniqueness is, that the concept on which LaFraise is based, will be transferred to a real shop. Which means that not only the T-shirts with the winner's design will be for sale in this shop, but also a meeting- and attraction point will emerge out of this. A real Hall of fame and further displays are naturally included.
Since this is a mobile shop at a specific location for a limited time only, it could also be that it opens its doors in your vicinity!!
Monday, March 24th 2008, the first competition will start and within the following 4 weeks, 3 further competitions will take place. What exactly do you have to expect? It's too early to explain but we will tell you everything next week, when the first competition will be launched.
You say party???
We say DANCE!!!

Lately I've been fascinated by all kinds of shiny black objects. The office space of Skye Design (my company) and Sabone Design (a friend's company – and yeah, I know we could've done a better job selecting the names) will be done totally using three colors; white, lime green (this is still yet to be discussed though) and lots of lots of black.

This is where I spend 8-14 hours a day
There has been some talks about buying plants but I'm not really too good with those. An idea of having two Bonsai trees and two pairs of tiny little tree clippers is loads of fun but somehow I'm sure my tree would just die in a couple of weeks. This morning I bumped into something that will solve that problem for me and all other laFraise community members that aren't born with a green thumb; A mechanical bonsai tree / clock.

Warp speed 4 to inner peace, Mr. Sulu
How neat is that? The base is black as it should be and the gear wheels are chrome. No need to clip this tree, ever. No need to water it. Ok, it won't actually grow or anything but what can you expect for ~65 euros? It might not be the best invention since sliced bread but way better than a cheese crust on on pizza anyway.

Airtoons.com is a hilarious site that makes parody out of regular airline safety cards. You know, those funny clipart drawings that are stored conveniently in a seat pocket in front of you when you fly. It seems like they have dark little secrets and hidden meanings that aren't explained to the passengers. Today's Friday game is all about unveiling some more of them. Below you see 4 images. Write a text that explains each one of them individually.

The user with the funniest explanations for these images will win enough brouzoufs for a t-shirt of his/her choice from our selection. Shipping included as always. You've got until 9pm (GMT) to come up with the explanations and I will pick the winner on monday morning when I'm at the office again. Have fun!
