I'm going to give you three characters… no you don't need to put them in a scene or anything this time.

What you do need to do though is; Create a funny story involving the three characters.

Now all 3 characters have to be in the story, one of them goes on a trip (vacation maybe?), and one works at laFraise.

The rest of the story is up to you.

Also in the process of working on a large project, I came up with some very random characters… some sort of space pirates in oversized mech suits…of some sort…

None of these are done yet, but they are in the process. I think one day I'll make a design using all of my unused characters from the last 1-2 years.

Hellooooooo! Let's start this new week with a lot of cool news:

- Guillaume and Kathrin were in Prag last week-end to see which technical improvements were possible for our t-shirts, and it's amazing to know what is possible yet. I'll tell you as soon as I have the pics. I hope you'll like it :)

- The new Vice t-shirt has just arrived in the shop: Push it real good, designed by Theoze. The S-size t-shirts for male are not online for the moment (shipping problem) but if you wait just a few days, everything will be fine.

- The Vice selection will now reward only one design each month, from all the galeries, but this design will be advertised on the German, English and sometimes Spanish translations of Vice magazine. Push it real good will be in the July issue, in the three languages. 

- Because we're so happy to celebrate our partnership with Vice magazine, all the Vice shirts are reduced this week. 17 Euro instead of 22!

Hey, I’m theoze, 28, living in a Parisian shoe box just big enough to hold 1 cat, 1 lover, 1 computer, 30 caps and 1 Tom Selleck poster. I majored in Visual Communication and video but as I sucked at it, I naturally came back to my forst and only love : drawing. And so I drew as a freelance in my shoe box for a few years until 2 good friends of mine picked me out to start a lil’ web agency, Colorz. I’m its Art Director by now.

- What is your main goal when you draw something? Trying to be funny, to have the best technical realisation, to send a message? Or is it just the first thing that comes to your mind?

- Argh, my mind is being vaccumed in your questions combo ! So let’s gather up : ye, no, no, ye ! I wish I’d answer you with fancy stuff like « Well, when I create, I see this process as an exit door from our decadent, virtualo violent society… So if only a single soul could be healed whether by my mouse or my pen, I’d be relieved… » Err, but no. It all depends on my mood at the moment, like a bunch f ther designers I presume…

- Who (or what) is your main inspiration ?

- I’d say : street life, people, music, movies, tv shows, cartoons, the eighties. If I have to name drop, you should check Banksy, Brody, Parra, Masa, Si Scott, Alex Trochut, Grotesk, jeremyville and some other great ones. To sum up, my inspiration i all the stuff getting inside of my head daily and which I can get out only through drawing.

- I heard that you were music-addicted…

- Not at all, even tho music is a true part of my life. I listen to it everyday and all day long, my tastes are eclectics (love this word, had to put it somewhere hehe) even tho I have a real crush on electronica. To think about it, maybe music led me to design. I’ve always been fascinated by the 12 inches cover art in my childhood. In wanting to do the same, I came to do graphics stuff now.

- What would you do if you were not a designer? Save the world, drink more beers?

- I would open a « Moustache Club » with Tom Selleck blessings ! We’d organise coaching workshops with pics from Pedro Winter at morning, noon and evening, to help people terrified by the moustache (like my cat) being ok with it.
World would be better and safer and then, we could drink beers to celebrate !

- This is your only chance to say something clever to the whole world.We're all listening. No pressure. Go go go!!

- Hoho, I feel like a politician ending a big speech with his political party baseline… So err, Be Freaky ! Be Fresh ! Push It Real Good !

Yeah, I know, it was a very girly week. But it's not really surprising: we had a lot of Mad' t-shirts waiting for a release, and at the office, Jared and Guillaume are the only men. I'm secretly trying to build a matriarchy :)
