It's about time for a new contest.

This time we thought Typography would be a good place to start seeing as we've had some great typo pieces in the past. It's definetly an artform that's been developing quite extensively within our art community here at laFraise and the art community as a whole.

Now there is no specific theme, we just want to see your custom typo. We want to discourage using pre-made fonts, we'd love to see a custom typeface created by you the designer.

Now I'm sure you want me to get to the good stuff, the contest starts July 7th-21st and will be available on the EU portion of laFraise but of course open to anyone.

Whats up for grabs?? Well each winner gets 1500 Euros and we'll pick a total of 3. Now depending on the amount of submissions and the quality maybe we'll pick a few more like we did with the Popdeck  contest, thats entirely up to you guys ;)

Who are the only ones in the world which are cooler than cowboys, pirates and rockbands from the 80´s, altogether? With this question, TshiKfuk won the last German selection. And he really deserves it!

So the Berlin story continues.

I actually missed my flight to Amsterdam and then of course I couldnt make my flight to Vancouver, so yes I'm still in Berlin.

I've had alot of fun so far though. The laFraise crew has been good to me and has done a great job of showing me around the city.

I also met up with Jouni and we did some graff work together which of course was fun. It was my first time ever working on any graffiti because of course in North Amercia they are alot more strict about it.

Got to see sections of the Berlin wall as well which was interesting.

Overall I had a great time in Berlin, and of course I included some pics of the trip thus far.

Hi again! One contest was not enough, we decided to have one more occasion for you to win some money (tomorrow = summer = holidays = you don't have anything to do = enjoy our contests!). 

You probably all know Dailymotion, the French Youtube. Well, their employees are forced to work completely naked just because they couldn't find a cool t-shirt… sad, isn't it? So here we are, trying to help them. And trying to win the 1500 Euro special prize.

The Dailymotion team is looking for a sexy shirt which could contain a word like Club, Guest, Exclusif, Staff, Private, Collector, Vip, Active Member or something like this. Why? Because they would like to show that they are a strong community and that everybody should want to be part of it. Therefore they need a limited-edition shirt. Hopefully if they wear this shirt, the people in the streets will attack them to steal it. Yeah, it's really what they said. People must be jealous of this shirt :)

Technical stuff: up to 12 colours, the background is royal blue (CMYK : 100, 66, 0, 2). You can use the logo, or not. If you need it, download it!!

Timing: from now on till June 27th, end of votes on July 4th, winners on July 7th.
