Big congrats to this week’s winners, one of which is EU’s very own MetaMephisto and his winning design Furry Faces You can checkout more of Mephisto’s work on his website
Congrats to the rest of the winners this week including:
I’m sure we have some Daft Punk Daft Punk fans here. Well this was announced awhile back, Medicom Toy will be releasing a Daft Punk Bearbrick 400% 2pack this month.
I don’t have the details yet on where you can purchase them, but a quick Google search will bring that up I’m sure closer to the release date.
On another note, who else thinks that their best album was “Homework”?
A little late, sorry on that, but this week’s Mad winner is a personal favorite of mine. I Love Kawaii by Charuca is a cute compilation of characters. You like this design? Checkout her other work at www.charuca.net
I went to Seattle’s annual Plush You show over the weekend with my wife. Figured I’d share with you guys some of the various creations from the show. No I didn’t have time to record which artist did what, but you’ll get the general idea of the show, some really great pieces.
And my favorite of the show… “Two Turntables and a Micrognome”
It’s always enjoyable seeing fellow artists do things that I don’t have the time or patience… or even the talent for. Nicolas Burrows is one of those artists.
V8: Arcade is a remake of the classic V8 series of vehicular shooters by Luxoflux/Activision from the late 1990s: Vigilante 8 for PS1/N64 (1998) and Vigilante 8: Second Offense for PS1/N64/Dreamcast (1999).
Vigilante 8: Arcade will be available for download on Xboxlive starting November 5th. The game has obvious limits because it’s downloadable but it’s got a load of content packed into it nevertheless. The game was developed by Isopod Labs and Activision.
Now you are probably wondering why I’m doing a post on this game, well I handled the characters, user interface, and the vector modeling of the vehicles and weapons. The characters etc. I did almost 2 years ago now, yeah it’s been that long…
I did not do the website or layout contained within, so any flaws you find on either websites, I promise I’m not responsible :)
You can checkout the Activision official website for the game here and the official full quality trailer here
Just found this video the other day by the design studio Evaq the song is called “I Wasn’t Made For fighting” and it’s by the wonderfully electric Woodhands mmmmmmm.
