Theme: “Vive la femme”

James Brown sang 40 years ago “It’s a man’s world – but it would be nothing without a woman or a girl”.
Since then, the influence of women in the modern society has more and more increased and the image of the woman has completely changed.

As Galeries Lafayette, their employees as well as their customers consists mostly of women, this autumn’s theme is Vive la femme! Dear Gentlemen, there’s nothing to say against you! But wouldn’t the world be grey and monotonous without women? The modern role of the woman in today’s society, also in contrast to the men, may be interpersonal relations, contradictions of men and women or clichés.
1 Winner will be selected: €1500 prize and printed on 500 shirts – to be sold at Galeries Lafayette Berlin (and in our shop); announcement of winner at our second fashion show in Galaxy during the event on November 6th.
