More reminiscent of my older work/style. Needed to flex my design muscle, haven’t been able to do any full on personal work in about 2 months. This is a pseudo album cover for a pseudo band, along with tshirt merchandise.
laFraise has been keeping me fairly busy over the last few months along with other freelance endeavors, so it’s nice to be able to sit down and work on some personal projects. Face is based on an image of my wife from a few years back. Full details on Behance.

Ferrari motorbike concept is all I want. Anyone feeling generous? First you have to get the rights to have it made/produced, then you’ll have to have one shipped to me in time for Christmas. Any givers?
Enjoy your Holidays laFraisians.

For those of you with an iPhone or even Facebook, I’ve got an addictive little game for you.
Created by laFraise regular and BloodSweatVector member San_Ce, this is a great highly stylized puzzle game based on viruses.
San_ce says: “Virus Laboratory is a block breaking game. Your aim is to remove the viruses when they are close to other same color viruses, and don’t let the viruses overflow the board. Killed viruses will be stored up in store room, and you can convert them to different medicines! Sounds interesting, rite ??”
You can download Virus Laboratory at the iTunes store or play it direct on Facebook.

Thought I’d share these guys with you. For those of you who use docks whether it be the standard Mac dock or the various dock programs you can get for PC (Objectdock etc.) this is a great little icon set. Makes me want to release a new set of my own, it’s been years.
Anyway big thanks to Matei Apostolescu, you can grab the full pack here or direct from DevianArt.

Lessons in Leaving Your World Behind is a showcase of some of my favorite work from the last 2-3 years. The showcase was presented on December 3rd at Design Commission Gallery at 310 South Washington St., Seattle, WA and featured 25-30 pieces. The show consisted of current work along with some pieces that have never been available before as prints. All pieces are for sale. There is also 3 Limited Edition framed prints for sale.
Opening night we already sold a number of pieces and the feedback was all positive. The show overall went great and the gallery was packed for most of the night.
I wasn’t sure initially how people would respond to a solely digital show, but the response was excellent, that’s all I could have asked for.
Thanks to all who attended and showed their support.
Thanks to Design Commission Gallery and big thanks to my Intern Eleanor Harvey and Matty Mitchell for the mural painting and show setup.
The Daily Drop Cap is an ongoing project by typographer and illustrator Jessica Hische. Each work day she posts a new hand-crafted decorative initial cap that you can use in your blog posts.
