We’ve got an energetic, new challenge for you this week. Together with smart, we invite you to design a t-shirt presenting your vision of electric mobility.
The smart fortwo electric drive brings the future of urban mobility to the streets and makes emission-free driving possible. It sets new standards with the most innovative lithium-ion technology and intelligent charging management. It is an environmentally-sound and customer-friendly electric car, designed as such in its introduction in 1998. Starting in 2012, the smart fortwo electric drive will be rolling off the production line. The first models will already be on the road this year in selected cities in Germany, Italy, Spain, England, France, Switzerland, as well as in the U.S. and Canada. Emission-free, quiet and easy to handle – does it fit into your future cityscape?
The theme
The smart fortwo electric drive in the city of our future.
Creative Guidelines
Smart stands for fun, sustainability and innovation.
Let these values inspire you to create a t-shirt that puts the smart electric drive in the city of the future.
There are no creative restrictions. You can graphically integrate a smart into your design, if you choose – if so, it should be based upon the appearance of a typical smart.
You can find more information at www.smart.com.

I’m not a massive fan of all their work, but some of it stands out from the rest. Some of which include their most recent work for the Sundance Film Festival.
These four works can all be seen on their website and really are worth the watch.
One of my favorite directors, Spike Jonze (Being John Malcovich, Adaptation, Where the Wild Things Are) premiered a short movie for Absolute Vodka at the Sundance Film Festival.
The film will be called “I’m Here” and premieres today.

Droplet Series 2 will be released Feb 6th and it features a very impressive lineup of artists on the custom side of things for the show at FiftyFifty in Bristol, including Pete Fowler, TADO, Peskimo and Nick Park – the four-time Oscar-winning creator of Wallace & Grommit.
The series was created by friend Gav Strange (Jam Factory) and presented by CrazyLabel who you might remember we had a contest with last year.
Either way if you are in the Bristol area Feb 6th make sure to drop into FiftyFifty to check out some celebrity artists and of course some great toys.
If you do miss the event of course you can purchase these guys online through CrazyLabel.
Thanks everyone for participating to this kind of different contest in cooperation with JAM Berlin. This time it was not a shirt design we were looking for….no, we go big this time and needed a design to pimp the offical bus for Jam Berlin Fashion fair.
There were loads of great ideas and loads of great designs… but as you all know the rules of competition, only one can win.
