A second round interview with s-a-m for the release of the funny t-shirt wolfswing.
Hi s-a-m nice to talk to you again!
Hello and happy holidays to all!
How did you create “Wolfswing” and how did you come across the idea?
It’s a redo of an old design just like cuckoo! When I decided to redesign it, I changed everything about it, first I did lots of sketches on the paper then scanned the best one and worked on it in Illustrator. That’s it!
Do you like fairytales?
Not really. They are all the same it seems all of them are written by one person!
Do you like wolves?
Yeah I really do! And the strange thing is I don’t like dogs at all (expect for pugs, I may bring one home someday or maybe a Persian cat – I haven’t decided yet). But my favourite animals are owls and cats, all animals with huge eyes and badass character have a place in my heart!
If you were the little Red Riding Hood, what would you say or do to the wolf?
Since I am not a girl, I think wolf works better for me, so if I were the wolf I would eat that girl in the first place in the jungle and wouldn’t waste my time and get myself killed.
What are your expectations for 2011?
Get ride of military service, maybe continue my education in another country, have more experiences working with new materials, work more with more prints perhaps, maybe work on my personal website, and more collaboration! If anyone wants to collaborate with me just contact me – I am open :)

What are your hobbies (except for design)?
Casual things, sleeping, listening to music 24 hours a day (expect when I am asleep), reading books, hanging around with friends.
Are you a traveller? If so which countries have you been so far? And would you like to time travel?
I can’t leave the country and travel :( because I have to do military service for 2 years first, it’s so exhausting – military service is every Persian’s man nightmare, but I have been in Turkey because at that time I was under age and also Italy in this case just because I won an illustration competition in Italy was able to leave the country for only two weeks! Right now I am working on some ways to ditch it so keep your fingers crossed.
Do you like cooking and what is your favourite recipe?
I tried to cook several of times but the result was horrible, and since I am vegetarian and I have a granny’s taste buds (I like watery foods!), I don’t eat most things. My favourite food is a Persian food named ASH RESHTEH. I know it sounds like a weird name, but it’s awesome – you have to try it! Ash means soup and reshteh is something like persian noodle ,it ’s kinda sour. Ash resheteh has bunch of vegetable in it which i dont know many of their names .and whey of course which i love !
