Cocktail explosif by vinsse
That brain certainly takes a beating after a long night of debauchery. You could compare it to a hard fought wrestling match – and that’s exactly what vinsse did! We were quite surprised by the style vinsse uses – we hadn’t seen such illustrations from him before. It seems that the community (just like us) enjoy a drink or two (or 5) and would like to wear this as a warning on a night out. Well done vinsse!
The Magic light by MrWayne
MrWayne is back in the prints with this magic and imaginative illustration. It reminds me of Where the Wild Things Are, but has it’s own originality in the scene and lighting effects. Yet another beautiful illustration by MrWayne that you can soon add to your t-shirt collection.

We’ve had a lot of retro music / computer designs, but this design had a sense of originality to it. We liked the scene and the premise behind the design, but it had hard competition with the winners this week.

Something a little different from georges – we liked the style. We couldn’t really pinpoint exactly what moved us about this design, but it kind of pulled us in a peaceful way.

Who’s got your back (teeth)? Mr. T dePasta will roll up his sleeves and fight off sugars of all kinds with a swift punch in the lolly! You don’t want to mess with him. Your mom and your dentist will love this graphic t-shirt design just as we did. Raise your toothbrushes for Pandaluna!
Rabbit energy drink by Charaspower
BRAINS! Yum yum yum and not just for zombies! This rabbit seems to be on the food ecstasy trip of his life. Nothing like some fresh carrot extract to give you that energy jump-start. Well done Charaspower!

We loved the characters on the train and the use of colour and style in this design. But, like the community we were not fully convinced by the idea cloud and what it meant. We are certainly looking forward to seeing more from Tony!

A simple and cute design, stylish and with nice complementary colours. We thought that this was a well-deserved third place. Keep up the great work radiomode!

Même pas peur ! by mayablabla
We loved the dark and mysterious atmosphere that mayablabla created in this design. The illustration is both beautiful and bone-shivering at the same time. A small splash of red goes a long way. Well done!
Now What? by vomaria
Shell shocked! These upside-down turtles won us over – a shirt with immediate impact and fond childhood memories. Vomaria also did this without infringing on any copyrights – we’re impressed!

Tooth protection was in a close fight with Now What? and unfortunately came out on the short end of the toothbrush. We also loved this design and perhaps panda could add a few more fun elements. Some garlic, perhaps? A cigarette?

Nite Guests by BubuSam
We’ve had lots of monsters running through laFraise these days and BubuSam’s hidden monster also gave us the shivers. A great illustration that reminds us of all those monstrous shadows we saw as kids.

We’ve updated the laFraise Terms and Conditions for the winning designs (they can be read in full here). But just so everyone is on the same page, here’s the basic change we have made.
When you submit a design to laFraise, you agree to hand over your rights to the design for a period of 5 years if it is selected for a print. The designer still receives €1,000 as a prize for the design to be printed 500 times on shirts. For every shirt sold beyond the initial print run of 500 shirts, a €2 commission is paid to the designer via their Spreadshirt account.

Georges impresses with yet another magically illustrated and detailed design. The smoke with its hidden images, the fox playing a violin – there’s much left up to the imagination to discover what it all means. But we loved it!
Renegades of funk by Madcobra
Back in the day a pencil (remember those?) was used to get that tape back into cassettes (remember those?). This funky t-shirt design with hair pic is a classic for music fans who want to take a trip down memory lane.

Insert Coins by TED BOUNDY
With a super strong score and a ton of pre-orders, I was first lost on this design. You see, a duck says “coin” in French (pronounced quon), and that play on word/sound really makes this shirt a winner. Add a retro gamer subject and this is a winner. And now we all know how ducks sound in French! Well done TED!
Anniversaire médiéval… by Jus2Pom
A dragon’s birthday party goes up in flames, who would have known?! Good thing the cake was fireproof! We liked the lively colours and the fun behind this shirt. A first selection for Jus2Pom – congrats!

I’m Innocent by 2mzdesign
As experts in bottle opener usage, we got a good chuckle out of this design. But we weren’t completely convinced that the design was at its full potential. We had a long discussion about the text and whether it’s important for the design or not. What do you think?

And since the sun is bringing out even more bright colours, we want to launch a new special contest: the Sunny Contest.
Sun, beach, cocktails, picnics, flowers – or however you enjoy the warm weather. You choose the theme and we choose the shirt colours: your design must be submitted on yellow (Pantone 115C) or apricot (Pantone 162C) t-shirt.
