This originally started out as a client based playing card project but once I realized the scope of it I decided to bring a few other artists on board. Other artists consisted of fellow BSV members Cuypi, ZombieCorp and Niark. All 3 designers I got to know over the last few years and had grown to respect as individuals and artists. Our styles all seemed to work together to create an overall theme and feel.
You’ll of course recognize all 3 artists as laFraise designers :)
This project was started late last year and is still in production. No word yet on when these will become available to purchase, but I will def let everyone know.
I always try and keep the laFraise community in the look with my personal projects and since you guys have shown a lot of interest in the past in regards to my wallpacks, I wanted to fill you in on the latest installment in my ongoing wallpack series.
This collection represents my favorite personal pieces over the last 1-2 years. All wallpapers illustrated by Jared Nickerson/J3Concepts/Jthree.
The Jthree Wallpack 2010 consists of 26 Desktop wallpapers in 1920×1200 and 2560×1600 resolutions and 24 iPad wallpapers in 1024×1024 resolution. (iPad walls will also work with the iPhone and other like phones)
Please respect the copyright included with the pack.
As you know I do have a thing for designer vinyl toys, or at least I use to anyway.
I have always loved the Teddy Troops series though by Flying Fortress, and I’ve always been impressed with the custom made ones.
Here are a few of my favorites off the Teddy Troops website:
Vintage women…but not like old ladies, well they are old now, most likely dead… ok nevermind, just enjoy some retro/vintage and even possibly stylish pics for either inspiration or just pure enjoyment.
All at Retrogasm.
Cute, stylish, funny and just plain cool, make sure to checkout Gluko & Lennon on Vimeo.
A great example of using characters to their full potential.
Thanks to Marius Bauer for the link.
Maybe a bit too dark for the beginning of the week, but still a great track with a great remix.
For those of you who didn’t know Dead Man’s Bones is made up of actor Ryan Gosling and friend Zach Shields.
More info at their Myspace.
I’m sure a chunk of you have an iPhone, and although there are a load of cases out there to choose from, there are very few that are worth your time.
I stumbled across Grove bamboo cases awhile back and got speaking with some of their staff and hopefully I’ll have a case on their soon, but until then make sure to checkout all the great artists they have lined up or you can even order your own custom case or a blank.
